Carving Instructions: Place ham on platter, fat side up. Starting from your right, make vertical slices at desired thickness until bone is ex- posed (refer to diagram on wrapper). Release slices by cutting under them and along the bone, starting from your right. For additional servings, turn ham over and slice to the bone as described above.

Spiral Carved Ham

Preparation Instructions For Our Fully Cooked Ham: This ham can be sliced and served cold or heated in an oven. To Heat: Remove wrapper, place the ham face down in a roasting pan for a half ham or on flat side for a whole ham. For extra sweetness cover with 4 ozs. of honey. Cover roasting pan with foil to retain the natural juices of the ham. We recommend that you place in a pre-heated oven at 325º. Heat for approximately 12- 15 minutes per pound. Do not over heat as it may cause ham to dry out.
Glazing Instructions With Honey: Prepare glaze 10 minutes prior to removing ham from oven.
1. After heating remove ham from oven and increase
oven temperature to 400º
F.
2.
Cover ham with 6 – 8
ozs. of honey.
3.
Sprinkle glaze over honey coated ham until completely covered.
4.
Return ham to oven for approximately 10 minutes.
5.
Remove ham from
oven and serve.
Glazing Instructions Without Honey: Prepare glaze 10 minutes prior to removing ham from oven.
1. In a small sauce pan combine glaze mix with
3 tbsp. water.
2. Stir
constantly over medium heat.
3. Bring to full boil, and then remove from
heat immediately.
4. Remove ham from oven and increase oven temperature
to 425º
F.
5. Brush prepared glaze over ham and between slices.
6. Return ham to
oven for 10 minutes.
7. Remove ham from oven and serve.
Note: Spiral slicing allows slices to remain intact until needed for serving. Carving to the bone makes the slices consistent and easily removed.
Chef Carved Ham

Note: This ham is fully cooked and may be served cold. Ham can be removed from refrigerator and left in package approximately 2 hours before serving; this will allow ham to be served at room temperature as an excellent buffet item.
Preparation Instructions For Our Fully Cooked Ham:
To Microwave: Remove outer foil labels. Puncture top of package 3 or 4 times. Place ham on a microwave safe plate or dish. Microwave on high 20 – 30 minutes. This is only approximate, as microwave heating may vary. Do not overcook as it will cause ham to dry out.
To Oven Bake: Remove from package and place ham in a baking pan. Cover with lid or completely cover with aluminum foil to pre-vent drying. Preheat oven to 325º F. Heat for approximately 10 minutes per pound. Since oven temperatures may vary, be careful not to overcook as overcooking will cause ham to dry out.
